What you will do:

- Conduct specialist assessments of needs, including risk management, to offer expert advice and suitable solutions.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and external agencies to assess needs and develop action plans.
- Support and guide junior staff and students in developing their skills and knowledge.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service responses.
- Balance needs and risks with rights, promoting positive outcomes and independence for individuals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with legal requirements.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns in collaboration with investigating officers.

Role Specific Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

- Essential: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.
- Experience in arranging specialist equipment and major adaptations.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Desirable: Experience working in a Local Authority setting.
