What you will do:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care needs of individuals using our services
- Mentor and supervise both qualified and unqualified staff, including students, to ensure consistent standards of care
- Lead and coordinate care for a specific group of service users, taking a holistic approach to wellness
- Engage in recruitment, deployment, and management of staff ensuring the team is efficient and proactive
- Harness CBT skills to deliver effective therapeutic treatments both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to adapt care plans as the needs of service users change
- Facilitate physical care adhering to professional guidelines ensuring service users maintain their personal hygiene, dietary requirements, and general wellbeing
- Address service users' individual values and beliefs, supporting them to fulfil personal customs
- Develop supportive professional relationships with staff and partner agencies to foster recovery
- Monitor physical observations such as blood pressure and blood sugars, taking action when necessary to maintain health standards
