Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Leap into an exciting opportunity as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within Community Paediatrics, providing essential services across beautiful Argyll and Bute, including Lochgilphead and Campbeltown. This full-time position offers an impressive hourly rate and is set to start as soon as possible. You will be working with children from birth to 19 years old, tackling a diverse range of complex physical and neurodevelopmental presentations across clinics, schools, and homes. Your role will be ongoing for a minimum of 8 weeks, making a significant impact during this period.

What you will do:
- Assess and manage a caseload of children with a variety of complex physical and neurodevelopmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, schools, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
- Conduct therapeutic activities in community settings, including clinics, schools, and home visits.
- Regularly review and adapt therapy programmes to meet the evolving needs of the clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports, adhering to regulatory and organisational standards.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally within the NHS.
- Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A valid driver's licence to travel across Argyll and Bute as part of the community paediatrics service.
