What you will do

• Assess learners on childcare vocational programmes and ensure that e-portfolios and/or paper-based portfolios meet awarding body and internal quality assurance requirements.
• Support learners to progress and achieve within agreed timescales, contributing to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across the Adult Learning Service.
• Communicate effectively with learners, employers, and colleagues, acting as a key point of contact for the service.
• Provide valuable information, guidance, and support to learners and stakeholders, escalating any issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to identify areas for improvement in delivery and assessment practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with service and awarding body requirements.
• Plan and arrange assessment activities, including workplace observations, while liaising with learners and employers/supervisors.
