Requirements
- Experienced and qualified Social Worker with management experience.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Solid knowledge of policy, legislation, and experience in good practice.
- Strong commitment to effective multi-agency working and child-focussed practice.
- Extensive experience of chairing complex and challenging meetings.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations effectively.
- Ability to scrutinise, challenge, and support both Social Care Teams and partners.
- Strong quality assurance experience and skills.
What you will do
- Work as part of the team with dual allocation of children on Child Protection Plans and a LADO caseload.
- Chair Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences, ensuring SMART Plans and effective information sharing.
- Chair Position of Trust meetings, managing difficult conversations to ensure positive outcomes.
- Support Social Care Teams and partners by providing expert guidance.
- Deliver high-quality quality assurance and support mechanisms.
