Working part-time, you’ll have the privilege of managing your own MSK Podiatry caseload while running independent clinics. What you will do:

• Manage an MSK Podiatry caseload and run independent MSK Podiatry clinics.
• Work alongside the MSK Lead Podiatrist to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assess new MSK patients, develop and implement treatment plans.
• Manufacture and modify orthoses and insoles according to patient needs.
• Review and progress patient treatment plans, ensuring effective discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Deliver evidence-based MSK Podiatry interventions, fostering positive outcomes for patients.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Podiatry with HCPC registration.
• Experience as a Band 7 MSK Podiatrist managing MSK Podiatry caseloads.
• Proficiency in running MSK clinics independently and assessing/treating MSK conditions.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, reasoning, care planning, and discharge planning.
• Expertise in manufacturing and modifying orthoses.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working within multidisciplinary MSK services and supporting service development.
• Expertise with bespoke insole manufacture.
