The Role – Graduate Teacher (Trainee)
You will train full-time or part-time within a primary school, following a structured, practice-led teacher training programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and delivering learning across the primary curriculum, including English and Mathematics.
- Gradually increasing teaching responsibility within a supportive training environment.
- Observing and delivering lessons alongside experienced primary teachers.
- Participating in regular professional training focused on classroom practice, behaviour management, and effective lesson delivery.
- Receiving ongoing feedback and mentoring to support your progress towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within one academic year.
