Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils across the school, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions
• Supporting classroom teaching and lesson delivery
• Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Preparing learning materials and resources
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
• Contributing to an inclusive learning environment

Candidate Requirements

• Degree from a recognised university
• Passion for education and working with young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and proactive approach
• Previous experience with children or young people desirable
• Able to commute to Greenwich daily
