Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and school leaders to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group academic support
- Supporting students with varying learning needs and abilities
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
- Supporting behaviour management and student engagement
- Preparing learning resources and classroom materials
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment

Candidate Requirements
- Degree from a recognised university (all subjects considered)
- Strong interest in teaching, education, psychology, or youth development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- Previous experience working with children, young people, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to commute to Bromley daily
