Our client is a leading high-end workspace and office group with a growing multi-site presence across London. Known for delivering exceptional environments and five-star service standards, they are seeking an experienced FM & Fit-Out Manager to oversee the day-to-day facilities operation while supporting capital projects and ongoing workplace improvements.
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role for someone who combines strong facilities management expertise with experience managing fit-out and refurbishment projects.
The Role
As FM & Fit-Out Manager, you will take responsibility for the maintenance, compliance and overall facilities performance across a portfolio of premium London workspaces. You will ensure that every site is maintained to the highest standards, while managing contractors, budgets and improvement projects from concept through to completion.
You will also play a key role in developing the annual CAPEX budget, identifying investment requirements and ensuring all expenditure is carefully controlled and aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facilities, maintenance and building services across multiple London sites.
- Ensure consistently high, five-star service and presentation standards across the portfolio.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and statutory compliance.
- Lead and coordinate external contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.
- Monitor contractor performance, service levels, costs and health and safety compliance.
- Develop, manage and report on the annual CAPEX budget.
- Identify opportunities for building improvements, refurbishment and asset enhancement.
- Manage fit-out, refurbishment and workplace improvement projects from planning through to completion.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, designers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare project scopes, tender documentation, budgets and programmes.
- Control project costs, variations, quality and delivery timelines.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, professionally and with minimal disruption to occupiers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and facilities reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, landlords, contractors and service partners.
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, property operations or workplace management, ideally within a premium office, hospitality, retail, hotel or high-end customer-facing environment.
You will be confident managing multiple sites, contractors and budgets, with the technical understanding and project management skills required to oversee fit-out and refurbishment works.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience in multi-site facilities or property management.
- Experience managing fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Experience preparing and managing CAPEX budgets.
- Excellent contractor and supplier management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial control.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
