What you will do:
- Provide high-quality, child-led contact for looked-after children and young people with their families, whether in a contact centre or community setting.
- Observe and offer relevant support during contact to ensure the safety and needs of the child are always met.
- Facilitate stimulating and quality contact, providing both written and verbal information to contribute towards the ongoing care plan for each child.
- Deliver an efficient, needs-led supervised contact service both within a centre and when accessing community resources as directed by the Family Time Manager.
- Communicate effectively with children, young people, and their families to ensure quality interactions.
- Record all observations accurately, maintaining high-quality records in line with current policy.
- Establish and sustain professional relationships with children, families, and other professionals to ensure high standards of service.
- Attend planning meetings with social workers to provide essential feedback, supporting the review and planning process for each child or young person.
- A driver's licence is essential, with the role requiring a competent driver to facilitate efficient service delivery.
