What you will do
- Statutory Guidance: Provide advice in line with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
- Process Management: Implement, monitor, and review statutory EHCP processes within required timescales.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with parents, carers, children, and professionals to ensure inclusive and person-centred planning.
- Casework Coordination: Manage a defined caseload, ensuring all EHCP processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Report Writing: Prepare high-quality reports and documentation to support decision-making and statutory compliance.
- Service Delivery: Provide a professional and sensitive service, particularly when managing complex or challenging cases.
- Case Escalation: Identify and escalate complex cases appropriately when additional input is required.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed of national policy updates and legislative changes within SEND services.
- Meeting Participation: Attend meetings and conduct visits with stakeholders to support EHCP planning and reviews.
