What you will do:
- Provide psychological consultation, assessment and intervention for children and young people facing barriers to learning, development, attendance, or wellbeing.
- Deliver professional advice and write comprehensive reports for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within statutory timescales.
- Collaborate with schools, educational settings, and families to identify strengths, needs, and evidence-based support strategies.
- Support inclusive practices and promote positive outcomes for children with SEND, social, emotional and mental health needs, and neurodevelopmental differences.
Qualifications and experience:
- Hold a Doctorate or Master's Degree in Educational Psychology recognised in the UK.
- Eligible to practise as an Educational Psychologist within the United Kingdom.
- Experience working as an Educational Psychologist within educational, local authority, health, or independent settings.
- Experience supporting children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society is desirable.
