What you will do:

• Perform and independently report a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, MSK, or small parts as required

• Ensure examinations are clinically justified, technically accurate, and reported to high professional standards

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring dignity, privacy, and informed consent while clearly explaining procedures

• Make advanced clinical judgements to identify urgent findings and escalate significant abnormalities in line with protocols

• Contribute to service improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities

• Support the development and implementation of departmental protocols, guidelines, and best practice

• Mentor junior staff, trainees, and students, contributing to training and competency assessments

• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports and engage in CPD, appraisal, and revalidation in line with professional requirements
