What you will do:

Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with head and neck cancer presenting with speech, voice, communication, and swallowing difficulties.

Develop, implement, and review evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure interventions remain effective and goal focused.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, ENT specialists, dietitians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.

Offer expert advice, education, and support to patients, families, carers, and colleagues regarding communication and swallowing management.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and treatment planning sessions.

Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.

Contribute to service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects where appropriate.

Promote best practice and evidence-based approaches within specialist head and neck cancer care.
