What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team within the Family Solutions service, ensuring high standards of practice and positive outcomes for children and families
- Oversee casework supervision, providing guidance and support to team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative approaches to family support
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to relevant legislation and policies
- Contribute to the service's continuous improvement programme, sharing insights and best practices
Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Demonstrable recent managerial experience, having worked as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, or similar role
- Extensive frontline experience in Children's Services, ideally as a Team Manager
