What you will do

MRI Imaging: Operate and manage advanced MRI equipment, with a particular focus on Siemens scanners, producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient-centred care, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their imaging procedures.
Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Clinical Excellence: Ensure all imaging procedures are completed in accordance with NHS standards, protocols, and best practice guidelines.
Training and Support: Assist in the supervision, training, and development of junior staff members and colleagues.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and departmental data.
Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining high standards of service delivery, safety, and clinical governance within the imaging department.
Equipment Management: Support the maintenance and effective operation of MRI equipment to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications / Requirements

Radiography Qualification: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
MRI Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an NHS MRI environment.
Technical Expertise: Experience using Siemens MRI scanners is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while also working independently when required.
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is desirable to support travel between sites if required.
