Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the heart of Croydon? We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join a progressive Early Intervention Team on a full-time, 3-month locum basis.

This role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis, helping them navigate recovery through evidence-based, person-centred care. You will work closely with service users, families, and a multidisciplinary team within a service that values innovation, collaboration, and high-quality clinical practice.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for individuals referred to the Early Intervention Team

• Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues

• Provide psychoeducation to service users and their families to support understanding and recovery

• Monitor clinical progress and adapt interventions as required

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and structured workshops

• Liaise with GPs, mental health professionals, and community services to ensure integrated care pathways

• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation in line with professional standards
