What you will do:
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals facing challenges with substance misuse, addiction, and recovery.
- Administer and monitor treatment plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each patient.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and effective recovery-focused programmes.
- Educate and counsel patients about the effects of substance misuse and support harm reduction initiatives.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational policies.

Requirements of the Substance Misuse Nurse:
- Hold a relevant nursing qualification with an active NMC Registration.
- Have recent nursing experience in substance misuse, addiction, drug and alcohol services, needle exchange, or recovery programmes.
