What you will do

• Perform a wide range of tests within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion department, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment with precision, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Participate in the weekend and blood sciences on-call rota after appropriate training, contributing to a responsive and efficient laboratory service.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Biochemistry.
• Over five years of post-registration work within NHS Laboratories.
• Haematology and blood transfusion knowledge is desirable to excel in this role.
