What you will do:
- Perform a variety of tests and analyses within the blood sciences laboratory, ensuring the highest accuracy and efficiency in results.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of scientists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards and safety protocols within the laboratory.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new techniques and technologies to improve laboratory operations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff members and students in training.
Requirements:
- Recent UK experience with a valid HCPC professional registration.
- Either the BBTS Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice or the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology with Hospital Transfusion Practice.
- A minimum of two years' experience in the field, with car driving skills considered advantageous.
