What you will do:

• Receive and screen safeguarding referrals from professionals and the public.

• Undertake initial risk assessments and threshold decision-making.

• Gather and analyse information from partner agencies within the MASH.

• Identify safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate next steps.

• Progress cases to Assessment, Child Protection, or Early Help teams.

• Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings.

Person Specification:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

• Registered with Social Work England.

• Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.

• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.

• Good understanding of MASH processes, thresholds, and referral pathways.

• Experience in Children's Social Care, particularly within MASH, Intake, Duty, or Assessment teams.
