What you will do

• Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients.

• Administer and manage intravenous (IV) medications and fluids in line with local policies, ensuring utmost safety and precision.

• Perform venepuncture and cannulation, maintaining safe practice.

• Monitor patients’ clinical conditions, recognising any signs of deterioration, and escalating concerns effectively.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and care records, ensuring clarity and precision.

Requirements

• You must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with evidence of continued professional development.

• Hold an active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC PIN).

• Competency in IV drug administration and venepuncture and cannulation is essential.

• Knowledge of acute care protocols and infection prevention guidelines.
