What You Will Do

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with a range of medical conditions, including elderly, stroke, and surgical cases.

• Manage acute caseloads from initial assessment through to ongoing nutritional support, including PEG assessment and NG feeding.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised nutrition care plans for inpatients and outpatients.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and national guidelines.

• Provide education and practical advice to patients, families, and carers to promote long-term health and wellbeing.

Requirements

• Current HCPC registration.

• Minimum of 2 years’ dietetic experience within medical, surgical, and elderly care settings.

• A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between sites (not essential).

• Membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) is desirable but not mandatory.
