Flourish Medical is recruiting a Locum Associate Dentist to join a well-established mixed NHS and Private dental practice in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist seeking flexible locum work within a supportive and friendly practice environment.

This locum opportunity is available for 2–3 days per week, offering excellent day rates and the chance to work with an established patient base.

The Role – Locum Associate Dentist

• Locum opportunity 2–3 days per week
• Flexible working days available
• Practice hours 9:00am – 5:00pm
• £450 – £500 day rate depending on experience
• Mixed NHS and Private practice
• Established patient list
• Supportive and experienced clinical team
• Modern and well-equipped practice
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality NHS and private dental treatments
• Provide excellent patient care and communication
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
• Work collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider practice team
• Adhere to GDC, CQC, NHS and clinical governance standards
• Build strong and lasting patient relationships

Requirements – Locum Associate Dentist

• Fully qualified and GDC-registered Dentist
• Active NHS performer number
• Proven UK dental experience essential
• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Confident working within a mixed NHS and Private setting
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused approach

This role is based in Newport and is easily commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Market Drayton, Stoke-on-Trent, and surrounding areas across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
