What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team of skilled social workers within MASH, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Coordinate with multiple agencies to assess, prioritise, and respond to safeguarding concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and procedures, maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating their professional growth and development.
- Partake in strategic discussions, contributing insights to improve service delivery and outcomes for children and families.
Requirements for the role:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work is essential.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Recent managerial experience in roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager is highly beneficial.
- Substantial frontline experience within Children’s Services, particularly as an Assistant Team Manager, is crucial.
