Advanced Adults Social Worker – Duty Team

Are you an experienced Adults Social Worker looking for a flexible locum opportunity in Leeds? We are currently seeking an Advanced Adults Social Worker to join the Duty Team within the Meanwood team in East Leeds.

In this role, you will help manage the team’s duty function alongside another social worker, providing continuity and ensuring the service operates effectively while the team awaits the arrival of a newly qualified social worker.

What You Will Do

• Manage the duty function of the Meanwood team alongside another worker, supporting the smooth running of daily operations.
• Keep the duty handover up to date, ensuring clear communication and effective transitions between team members.
• Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings via Microsoft Teams as required, contributing your professional knowledge and expertise.
• Maintain the duty calendar, ensuring visits are accurately logged and appropriately scheduled.
• Provide continuity and support to the team during the transition period before a newly qualified social worker joins.
