Pay Rate: PAYE £24.51 per hour / Umbrella £32.00 per hour

Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a busy and supportive Adults Locality Team based in Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker seeking a rewarding locum social work role within adult social care.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Adult Social Worker with strong knowledge of local authority statutory responsibilities and a commitment to delivering person-centred support to adults within the community.

The Role

As an Adult Social Worker within the Locality Team, you will work with adults and their families to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. You will manage a varied caseload and complete assessments, reviews, and safeguarding work in line with legislation and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload within an Adults Locality Team
• Completing Care Act assessments and support planning
• Undertaking safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
• Working collaboratively with health professionals and partner agencies
• Supporting adults to access appropriate services and community resources
• Maintaining accurate case recordings and reports
• Promoting independence and person-centred practice
• Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Previous experience within Adult Social Care
• Strong understanding of Care Act legislation and safeguarding
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred, or ability to meet the travel requirements of the role through other means
