Please note that standard working hours are organised over five days from Monday to Friday, and condensed hours are not available for this role.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and create care plans for vulnerable adults, focusing on individual needs and circumstances.
• Lead safeguarding investigations as an Enquiry Officer to ensure the protection and welfare of clients.
• Manage Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments, oversee DST checklists, and facilitate MDT meetings while navigating any related disputes.
• Handle complex and high-risk cases, providing comprehensive support and bespoke solutions to adult clients.
• Prepare reports and statements for Court of Protection cases, maintaining accurate and detailed case documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• At least 2 years of post-qualifying Social Work experience, particularly with vulnerable adults in a local authority setting.
• Proven experience in safeguarding investigations and managing high-risk, complex cases.
• Familiarity with CHC processes, MDT meetings, and dispute management.
• Must be a car driver with a valid licence.
