What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive assessments and recommendations for mentally disordered offenders
- Participate actively in the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) rota, handling emergency assessments and interventions
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Ensure compliance with legal frameworks and ethical guidelines, maintaining high standards of practice
- Liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships
- Offer expert guidance and support to community and residential settings
Requirements:
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Hold a degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Have UK-qualified experience working as a Social Worker
- Skilled in working with mentally disordered offenders and participating in the AMHP rota
