What you will do:
- Perform specialist scientific and technical duties to the high standards expected of an HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist.
- Maintain the integrity of laboratory computer systems, ensuring accurate data entry, results recording, and communication via reports and email.
- Ensure all analyses are performed using approved methods and Quality Control systems to maintain exceptional standards.
- Conduct equipment maintenance in line with laboratory and supplier protocols, documenting all completed procedures.
- Utilise specialist knowledge to carry out complex analytical techniques, interpret Quality Control data, and take corrective action where necessary.
- Authorise and release test results, reporting via telephone as required, and document all actions according to laboratory quality management procedures.

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, the Biomedical Scientist must hold HCPC registration and possess a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an alternative qualification. A background with post-qualifying experience within the field of biomedical science will also be an advantage.
