Key Responsibilities

Deliver a comprehensive range of general dental services to maintain and enhance oral health within the community.

Provide emergency dental care during and outside normal hours to residents, visitors, and fishermen.

Participate in school screening programmes and initiatives to improve children’s oral health.

Support the development and implementation of the Oral Health Strategy.

Assist with the day-to-day management and operational efficiency of the dental department.

Supervise and collaborate with dental nurses, hygienists, and support staff, ensuring quality standards are met.

Contribute to ongoing staff training and professional development within the team.

Engage in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement activities within the dental and hospital setting.
Essential Requirements

Fully qualified Dental Practitioner with GDC registration (or international equivalent).

Proven experience in general dentistry and dental emergency care.
