Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, carrying out high-quality, child-centred assessments and interventions.

  • Work restoratively with families, empowering them to create positive and sustainable changes.

  • Build effective relationships with children, families, and partners to safeguard and promote welfare.

  • Apply relevant childcare legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding frameworks.

  • Engage in reflective supervision and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, quality service delivery across the Safeguarding & Support Team.


Essential Requirements

  • Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.

  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection within statutory children’s services.

  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development.

  • A restorative and child-centred approach to social work.
