Key Responsibilities

Complete thorough and evidence-informed Pre-Birth, Parenting, and Children & Family Assessments, ensuring all aspects of need and risk are addressed.

Work collaboratively with parents, children, and partner agencies to develop tailored and sustainable support plans.

Contribute to safeguarding and care planning processes, ensuring children’s safety and well-being remain central to all decisions.

Undertake additional assessments as identified by the manager to support service delivery and team objectives.

Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with local and statutory requirements.

Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Essential Requirements

Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.

Proven experience completing Pre-Birth, Parenting, and Family Assessments.

Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989 and relevant child protection frameworks.

Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
