What you will do:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aseptic dispensing service, ensuring the safe and effective use of resources and timely preparation of medications.
• Support the management and organisation of aseptic services, ensuring all products comply with stringent standards and are delivered promptly.
• Assist the Aseptic Services Accountable Pharmacist in maintaining compliance with Section 10 Exemption and National Standards for delivering a secure aseptic service.
• Implement training programs in aseptic preparation, equipping staff with the necessary skills for efficiency and safety.
• Conduct clinical screening of prescriptions consistent with best clinical practices and local regulations.
• Participate in project and development work for the aseptic dispensing service and the larger cancer care pharmacy team, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to high standards.
