We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Phlebotomy Healthcare Assistant for an exciting locum opportunity in Hull. This role involves supporting a phlebotomy training session on 9th November, where your expertise will guide 12 budding learners through both theoretical and hands-on training from 10am to 4pm.

What you will do:

• Assist the lead Phlebotomy Trainer during the session with both theoretical and practical components.
• Actively support learners during practice draws by providing guidance and encouragement.
• Potentially act as a model for practice, ensuring learners gain real-world experience under expert supervision.
• Ensure the smooth running of the day, offering your expertise in venepuncture to ensure a successful training session.

Key requirements:

• Must be qualified and experienced in venepuncture/phlebotomy.
• Available for the entire session from 10am to 4pm.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS check.
• Have appropriate professional registration or work under clinical governance.
• Possess current indemnity insurance.
