Earthing Assistant in Northampton, Northamptonshire

KPI Rail and Infrastructure delivers safe, high-quality rail solutions across the UK. We are seeking a motivated PTS Earthing Assistant to support our team with the installation, maintenance, and removal of earthing systems on live rail sites.
Role:
Assist in the setup, testing, and dismantling of rail earthing equipment while ensuring all work meets safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and remove rail earthing equipment.
- Support safe working practices and comply with all safety regulations.
- Prepare sites and check equipment before and after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding team environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Previous earthing assistant or similar experience.
- Relevant electrical or rail industry training.
- Experience working on rail sites.
