Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton, South London
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–15:30pm
Salary: £500–£600 per week

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recent degree (2:2 or above) in Psychology, Education, Special Educational Needs and Disability, or a related field
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in their learning and development
- An empathetic, patient, and resilient nature
- A strong interest in building a long-term career in education, therapy, or child development
- Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalised support to students with additional learning and emotional needs
- Working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour, using evidence-based approaches
- Supporting students with ASD and communication difficulties to develop confidence and independence
- Collaborating closely with therapists, SENCOs, and teaching staff to ensure each child receives holistic, tailored support
- Developing your understanding of EHCPs, adaptive teaching and early intervention strategies
