Wood Machinist - Cross Cut Saw Operator in Winsford, North West

KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to join our client’s busy door manufacturing team.
This role involves operating and setting up a Cross Cut Saw Machine to cut all frame legs and heads for door production.

We’re seeking someone with solid machining experience who can set up, programme, and operate saw machinery safely and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up Cross Cut Saw Machines for timber cutting

• Program the saw for accurate cutting of frame legs and heads

• Read and work from technical drawings and measurements

• Carry out quality checks to ensure precision and consistency

• Maintain equipment and keep the work area safe and tidy

• Meet daily production targets and follow company H&S procedures

Requirements:
✅ Previous experience operating Cross Cut Saw Machines
✅ Experience in setting up and programming woodworking machinery
✅ Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
✅ Good understanding of workshop safety
✅ Reliable and punctual 

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:45pm

• Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

Benefits:
⭐ £13.50 per hour 
⭐ £200 monthly attendance bonus (after 12 weeks when permanent)
