Class 2 Driver in Milton Keynes, South East

KPI are currenty recruitng for a class 2 Bin Lorry Driver , to work for a National refuse company based in Milton Keynes 

HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver

• Previous experience driving a skip lorry or similar vehicle is required for this position
• UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 6 months) is required

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to secure a temporary-to-permanent position. With two seperate shift patterns available, subject to a successful interniew onsite and an assessment dependant on experience.

Job location: Milton Keynes MK6 area

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5am - 2.30pm half hour unpaid break OR 4am - 1.30pm half hour unpaid break

Duties & Responsibilities

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying bins from residential and commercial premises accompanied by loaders.

A minimum of 6 months on HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely

Person Specification

• UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 6 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
• Excellent, professional work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industry environment would be an advantage
