Social Worker - MASH Team - Barnsley - £35 Hourly - Ongoing

We are delighted to offer a part-time position (3 days per week, 22.5 hours) for a senior social worker within our Children's Integrated Front Door in the vibrant town of Barnsley. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced professional who has previously thrived in a MASH or Screening Team environment and can effectively collaborate at a quick pace. This role covers maternity leave and involves in-depth risk assessments, safety planning, and analyses of multifaceted information to ensure children receive essential support. We encourage applications from those who are familiar with the Signs of Safety framework and have experience using Mosaic. With hybrid working arrangements, you will enjoy the flexibility of working 2 days in the office and 1 day from home each week.

What you will do:

- Conduct timely and thorough risk assessments applying your expertise to ensure the safety of children within the community.
- Develop and implement safety plans using detailed insights from diverse information sources.
- Analyse data from multiple sources to inform decision-making processes and service delivery.
- Engage with children and families to provide advice, guidance, and assistance tailored to their specific needs.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with police, healthcare professionals, and other partners to develop comprehensive plans for the welfare of children.
