What you will do:
- Conduct assessments of children in need and those at risk of harm, creating comprehensive reports to inform protective actions.
- Engage with children and families, providing support, guidance, and interventions to promote their welfare and safeguarding.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to plan and deliver appropriate services.
- Prepare for and participate in case conferences and multi-agency meetings.
- Perform one week of duty every four weeks, addressing emergencies and providing immediate support as needed.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant frontline experience in the UK as a qualified Social Worker, with a focus on safeguarding and assessment.
