What you will do:

- Undertake comprehensive assessments and social work services for users and carers in line with the council's statutory duties and powers.
- Safeguard vulnerable children by progressing cases efficiently, utilising both group and independent resources.
- Participate actively in the duty team/rota, handling contacts, referrals, section 47 enquiries, and child and family assessments.
- Manage Care Proceedings and confidently represent the Local Authority in Court.
- Ensure that all interventions are informed by the latest research and best practices.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in child protection or long-term teams.
- A consistent employment history with evidence of long-term roles, ideally 24 months or more per post.
- No unexplained employment gaps or frequent job changes.
- Meet all criteria for interview consideration.
