This exciting opportunity offers an ongoing contract where you can earn £27 per hour on a full-time basis. As a locum, you will provide specialist nursing input for service users with intellectual and learning disabilities and mental health needs. What you will do:

- Provide specialist clinical assessments that guide a stepped-care approach to improving treatment within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Oversee access to care for individuals with learning disabilities in the local area, managing records and ensuring effective pathways.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and engage with other agencies to deliver high-quality care to those with complex mental health and social needs.
- Execute nursing procedures to the highest standards, ensuring safe and effective care in compliance with The Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct.
- Support and enhance the quality of clinical practice across therapeutic interventions for service users with complex needs.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- Proven experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
- NMC Registration is essential.
