Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional or mental health needs

Work closely with class teachers to adapt resources and ensure all students can access the curriculum

Help students build essential life skills such as independence, communication, and confidence

Support emotional regulation and behaviour management through consistent, compassionate strategies

Track and report student progress, contributing to the development of personalised learning plans
Who We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from graduates who:

Hold a degree (ideally 2:1 or above) in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

Have experience working with young people with SEN, in schools, care settings, or through voluntary work

Are patient, empathetic, resilient, and genuinely committed to inclusive education

Have a strong interest in progressing into teaching, educational psychology, therapy, or similar fields
