We’re proud to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Nuneaton, seeking a motivated Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical school-based experience before pursuing a PGCE, Educational Psychology, or other specialist postgraduate routes.

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Your Role:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions (academic, social, and emotional)
- Work with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Use therapeutic and play-based strategies to inspire progress
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree (or above) in Psychology (or a related field)
- Passion for child development and inclusive education
- Experience working with children/young people (school, tutoring, youth work, SEN)
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and caring approach
- Career aspirations in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health support
