Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and challenging maths lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small-group intervention to boost understanding and confidence
- Help prepare lesson resources and assist with classroom activities

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Who We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- A 2:1 or higher in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or a related subject (Russell Group or top-30 university preferred)
- A strong academic record across GCSE and A-Level
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to break down complex ideas
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude to supporting learning
- A genuine interest in progressing into teaching or education-related roles
- Previous classroom or tutoring experience (desirable but not essential)
