Job Summary:
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of autonomous, evidence-based, women-centred midwifery care, while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, other agencies, representatives, and service users. As an Integrated Midwife, you will operate within both the ward and community services and will be scheduled for both day and night shifts within a rota period.

What you will do:
- Collaborate as a key member of the maternity team, delivering comprehensive midwifery care throughout the pregnancy continuum in both the maternity unit and community settings.
- Coordinate and deliver a high standard of evidence-based practice for all families within the community caseload.
- Participate actively in the on-call rotas for the maternity unit, ensuring a seamless provision of care.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Support women and their families by offering education and resources for informed decision-making along their maternity journey.

Requirements of the Midwife:
- Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Degree in Midwifery or equivalent qualification
- Certified in Basic Adult Life Support
- Qualified to Safeguarding Level 3
- Certifications in clinical skills such as PROMPT, BFI, cannulation, and venepuncture
- Qualified in the Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE)
- Certified in Neonatal Life Support
