What you will do:
- Provide robust management support to the Child Protection/Court Team to ensure high-quality service delivery and performance.
- Engage with complex casework to support the team in achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
- Manage and supervise team members, providing guidance and mentorship to advance their professional growth.
- Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to ensure collaborative approaches in child protection and court matters.
- Oversee court processes and represent the team in legal settings when necessary.
Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:
You must hold a degree or equivalent in social work with current Social Work England registration. Recent managerial experience, such as working as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager, is required. Significant frontline experience in Children's Services is an absolute must, particularly in roles that involve direct involvement in team leadership.
