Social Worker - Mental Health Adults Team - Sutton (UK) - £32 Per Hour - Ongoing
Here's an exciting opportunity for one full-time Social Worker to join the Mental Health Adults Team in Sutton, working as a duty Mental Health Social Worker five days a week (Monday to Friday). You'll bring your experience in managing complex adult mental health cases to a dynamic and supportive setting. What you will do:
- Take on duty work to manage and support complex adult mental health cases, making a meaningful difference in the community.
- Engage with multi-disciplinary professionals, including attending ward rounds to ensure integrated care for service users.
- Assist with S117, Mental Health Court of Protection applications, and be involved in Mental Health Tribunals to uphold service user rights.
- Work closely with housing and brokerage services, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
- Conduct Safeguarding Enquiries to maintain safety and well-being.
- Travel around Sutton, utilising your own transport, to offer support both in and out of the borough as required.
- Proactively manage a busy and complex caseload, prioritising tasks efficiently under pressure.
